LaVonne Irene Waite

September 5, 1957 - February 16, 2020

LaVonne Waite, 62, the daughter of James and Patsy (Slay) Brown, she was born in Santa Rosa, California. She met Timothy Waite and they were married October 25, 1975 in Albany.

LaVonne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her & Tim were the best of friends and spent countless hours together in her final years doing the things she loved. She loved a lot of things in life but her favorites were antique hunting, camping, fishing and being outdoors. LaVonne was an amazing cook & loved a variety of different foods, but nothing compared to her love of pickles or sweets. She loved watching the History Channel, old movies, and I Love Lucy. Gardening was something that she truly enjoyed and she grew incredible lemon cucumbers. With all of her grandchildren around, they never stayed on the plants for long. LaVonne was very passionate about maintaining an impeccable home, and any given day you could smell Pine-Sol from a block away.

LaVonne is survived by her husband Tim; children, Misty Evans (Matt), Mindy Beard (Alan) & Spencer Waite; brother, James Brown Jr,; grandchildren Karlee, Alex, Christopher, Courtney & Mason; great-grandchildren, Arianna & Blakeleigh. As well as many other family members who will greatly miss her.

She was preceded by her parents and her brother, Frank Brown.

A celebration of life will be held March 7th, 2020 at 1pm at Jefferson Baptist Church in Jefferson, Oregon. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
