His daughter, Jill and son-in-law moved their family in 2004 to Oregon and Steve and Vicki shortly followed to set up their retirement dream home in Lincoln City. Since then the whole family made the trek to Oregon, which he proudly called home. His loved his family more than anything.

He is also survived by his son Troy of Newport, Oregon, son Todd and his fiancée Linea of Eugene, Oregon, and daughter Jill and son-in-law Ladd, of Eugene, Oregon. Some bright morning when this life is over, I’ll fly away. To that home on God’s celestial shore, I’ll fly away. Fly high Dad, we love you so.
