Paul Frank Timm, 75, of Albany, Oregon, passed away on the evening of Monday, January 29, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis, Oregon from cardiac arrest.

Paul was born on February 26, 1942 in Duluth, Minnesota. He was raised in Marble, Minnesota since the age of 4 yrs. He graduated from Greenway High School in Coleraine, MN in 1960. Paul entered the United States Air Force in February, 1962. He was stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho where he was an aircraft repairman. He met his wife Gloria Spaude on September 22, 1962 in Gooding, Idaho and they were married on May 20, 1963. After being honorably discharged in November 1966, they moved to Ontario, Oregon with their son Paul Alan. Paul was hired by the Oregon State Police in 1969 and was stationed in Albany, Oregon for 25 yrs. He retired in 1994 as a Senior Trooper.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Irene Timm, his brothers Charles Jr, and Alan (Mick).

Paul is survived by his wife Gloria, and four sons: Paul (Sandy), Steve (Kristi), Scott, and Mark (Anne). He has nine grandchildren: Tyler, Nicholas, Kylee (Doug), John, Sidney, Mclain, Garrett, Amelia, and Miles. He also has two great-grandchildren: Caleb and Charly. Paul has a surviving sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Champlin in Elk River, Minnesota and many nieces and nephews.

Paul was known as an honest, kind, and loving man who enjoyed camping, boating, traveling, movies and any activities with his family. He had a love for animals, especially dogs, and had many over the years.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at 1910 34th Avenue SE, Albany, Oregon. A luncheon will be served after the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
