Born in Rigby, Idaho on Aug. 24, 1948
Departed on Nov. 10, 2017 and resided in Albany, Oregon.

August 24, 1948---November 10, 2017

Dean Sade, 69, of Albany left us on November 10th. Dean was born the younger twin to Ray and Elsie Sade in Swan Valley, Idaho. In 1955 he moved to Brownsville. Dean graduated from Central Linn High School in 1967, and soon after he joined the army and served in Vietnam. When he returned he got a degree in drafting at LBCC and another in machining. Dean worked in many machine shops before staying at Oremet for many years until he retired in 2002.

Five years ago he bought a cabin on the Alsea River where he spent the best years of his life. Dean was a member of the NW Steelheaders. He loved being a poppy to his four grandkids. Dean was known for his laughter and kindness, and for having his foot in his mouth.

Dean is survived by his daughter Kati Sade and husband Brian; grandchildren Gaven, Eli, Luci and Mina; twin brother Dale; sisters Sharon Dupree and LaRae Orey; cousin Irene (Floyd) Corbett and cousin Rosemary Linegar. He was preceded in death by the love of his life Carolyn Sade, his parents, and aunt Fanny Higgins.

A celebration of life open house will be from 1 to 3pm Friday November 17th at the Brownsville Recreation Center. The family expresses a heartfelt appreciation to his nurse Amy MacRostie, the hospice house angels, and the support of machinists, farmers, fishermen, pilots, and good old guys that filled our home in the last month
