Departed on Oct. 27, 2017 and resided in Albany, Oregon.

July 27, 1982---October 27, 2017

Jennifer was born on July 27, 1982 to Eddie and Doris Harris and passed away Friday, October 27th. She is survived by her parents, her sister Amy Harris, her husband Luke Walden, her nana Millie Reid, her mother and father in-law Sarah and John Walden, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family, friends and her beloved pets. Above all Jennifer loved the Lord.
Jennifer grew up in Veneta, Oregon and attended Elmira High School and graduated from North Eugene High school in 2000. She received her Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) in 2005. She excelled in sports growing up, especially softball and was a standout pitcher in High School and College.
Jen loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. She loved to fish, hike and camp. Her favorite time of year was football / hunting season. The only thing that got in the way of cheering her beloved Oregon Ducks on at Autzen Stadium was deer and elk season in Eastern Oregon.
Jen’s professional career was outstanding. She worked at Good Samaritan Hospital as an Ultrasound Sonographer from 2005 to 2015 and at the Salem Clinic from 2015 to 2017. She loved what she did and was amazing at it. She put patients first and was always chasing for the perfect ‘textbook’ images on each exam to help the patients receive the best treatment possible.
Jennifer had a kind and caring heart. She loved to help others and had a tender spot for stray animals.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 4th at 11:00am at Suburban Christian Church in Corvallis, Oregon. In lieu of flowers or gifts, Jennifer would have wanted donations made in her name to Suburban Christian Church or Safe Haven Humane Society in Tangent, Oregon, in care of Fisher Funeral Home, 306 SW Washington St., Albany, OR 97321.
