Robert “Bob” Elroy Reynolds Sr, 84, passed away on Friday October 6th, surrounded by family.
He was born in 1933 to Paul and Pearl Reynolds in Calgary Canada. At an early age he and his family moved to the United States where he later became a US Citizen. He and his family eventually settled in Ontario Oregon where he graduated from Ontario High School. He later moved to Albany where he spent the rest of his life.

A true entrepreneur, at age 26 he went to the bank and obtained a $3000 loan, settled with a handshake, to start an auto parts store. He successfully ran Hollywood Auto Supply, a valley staple, for many years until his retirement at age 58.

Bob’s generosity knew no bounds. He valued his wife Jean, family and friends above all else. He loved traveling with Jean, spending time with his family and his daily coffee meets with his friends.

Bob loved sport fishing in Alaska, winter vacations to Maui and most of all his Oregon State Beavers. He spent 58 years as a Beaver Believer and donor. He spent a lot of his free time following Beaver Athletics around the country.

Bob leaves behind his beloved wife Jean and 9 children; Theresa of Albany, Robert Jr. of Albany, Paul of Eugene, Deborah of Medford, Brian of Albany, Twila of Albany, Brian of Medford and Hanna of Albany. Bob was blessed with 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother William of Yuba City (CA) and his sister Pauline of Denver (CO).

Bob’s life will be celebrated at Goss Stadium in the Omaha Room at Oregon State University on Saturday October 28th, 2017 from 1 to 4 pm. Please wear OSU or black and orange attire.
