Departed on Mar. 22, 2017 and resided in Scio, OR.

  
Jacqueline Cook Bishop (nee Ruck) joyfully went home to her Savior on March 22, 2017.

Jackie was born February 16, 1931 in Queens, NY to Ruth and Lindsey Ruck. She worked in the banking industry in NYC and her family vacationed in the Thousand Islands in Canada where she met and married Edwin Cook of Kingston, Ontario Canada. They moved to Long Island and raised their family of 3 daughters. They relocated to Scottsdale, AZ in 1963 and to Scio, OR when Ed retired in 1978. Jackie worked in housekeeping in surgery at Albany General Hospital until she retired in 1996. After Ed passed away in 1984, Jackie met and married Kenneth Bishop of Scio in 1992. Ken passed away in 2007.

Jackie had a lifelong love of animals especially horses, dogs and cats. She also had a passion for flowers and her gardens were always spectacular.

She adored her family and is survived by her daughters, Judy Lewis (Randy) of Tempe AZ, Janet Muirhede (Jack) of Albany and Joyce Brenneman (Mike) of Scio, grandchildren, Patrick Lewis (Meghan), Jack Muirhede II, Erin Grant (David), Jessica Packebush and great grandchildren, Josslyn Mallars, Lincoln and Daisy Brenneman and Garrett Grant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Lindsey Ruck and spouses.

Her family is greatly saddened by her passing but grateful for the knowledge that she rests in peace with her Lord.
